Dr. Sandhu has over six years of experience in applied behavior analysis. Her doctoral research focused on using self-management strategies to reduce excessive screen time in working adults, contributing to evidence-based behavior regulation practices.
Dr. Sandhu specializes in comprehensive behavioral assessments, individualized treatment planning, and progress monitoring. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and selective mutism.
Dr. Sandhu also provides parent consultations to support positive behavior change across areas such as communication, sleep routines, reduction of maladaptive behaviors, play and social skills, and toilet training.
Dr. Sandhu offers parent consultation services for families of neurodivergent and neurotypical children, as well as consultation for individuals seeking meaningful and sustainable behavior change. She integrates principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals align behavior change with personal values.
